PHOTOGRAPHIC EXHIBITION OF KLAUDIA RATAJ-SOPYŁŁO

The opening of the photographic exhibition of Klaudia Rataj-Sopyłło, an artist fascinated by the visual side of the world, who perceives reality in the spirit of narrative taken from fairy tales and legends, creating a fairytale world to which she invites models from all over Poland. This time the session was carried out in the Land of a Thousand Lakes with the participation of model Michalina Betlewicz – a student of the fifth year of the Artistic Education in the field of fine arts of the Art Department of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn.

“METAMORPHOSES” EXHIBITION

Having completed several international outdoor and exhibition projects (including “Colors of Ostróda” in the summer of 2015, 2016 and 2017), the Warmia and Mazury Art Foundation started its activities in Grunwald with the “Metamorphosis” exhibition, decorating the catering and exhibition Art Gallery of the Knights’ Inn with 60 photographic portraits of young girls, by Warsaw theater director Elka Baranowski.

MONUMENTAL REPRODUCTION OF A FAMOUS PAINTING

During the Grunwald Days in July, until the starry nights of September, Krzysztof Serwatka was a guest in the Knights’ Inn and with him the monumental reproduction (in 1:1 scale) of the famous painting “Battle of Grunwald” by Jan Matejko.

SCULPTURE OF THE POLISH KNIGHT IN THE SCULPTURE PARK OF THE KNIGHTS’ INN

The sculpture of the Polish knight was the first one to be placed in the Sculpture Park of the Knights’ Inn. You can see it in front of the main entrance of the inn. A knight of the Teutonic Order is under construction. The author of the sculptures, Jacek Stańczak, announced his presence during the international open air painting and sculptural event planned for September 2018 – “The Polish and German places of remembrance”.
